Free trials, $1 first months and chip-in pages
Some plans start with a free trial or a $1 first month. And any subscription can have a public page where your community chips in towards its bills.
- Start the trial. Order the plan as usual. The order form shows the offer, for example "7-day free trial, then $19.00 / month". Free trials: Warden Starter (7 days), Warden Console Starter (7 days), Warden Voice Starter (7 days), DayZ Feed Starter (7 days) and Recorder Plus (7 days). $1 first month: Mini game server ($1) and Lite game server ($1).
- Add a card. A card is needed to start, but a free trial charges nothing until it ends. Your service is set up straight away, exactly as a paid one.
- Get a reminder. Two days before a trial ends we email you (and send a phone alert if you use them) with the date and the price after it.
- Keep it or cancel. Do nothing to keep it. To stop, press Cancel trial under Free trials & offers in the client area: it keeps working until the trial ends and you're never charged.
The rules
One offer per product per person: per account, per Discord account and per card. A repeat found after checkout ends a trial on its last day with nothing charged, and we tell you.
An offer and a code don't combine. If you enter a discount, affiliate or founders code, the order uses the code instead of the offer.
Chip-in pages
Under Community support pages in the client area, create a page for any subscription and share its link. Anyone with an IronVault account can chip in from $2. They pay a small card fee on top, so you get the whole amount.
What they give is kept for that subscription and taken off its next invoices automatically. The page shows how much of this month is covered and the supporters who chose to show their name; never emails. Messages show only if you turn them on, and you can switch the page off at any time.
If a contribution is refunded or disputed, its credit is taken back. If the subscription ends, anything left becomes ordinary account credit.
Questions
Will I be charged when the free trial ends?
Only if you keep it: the first payment is taken when the trial ends, at the price shown when you ordered. Cancel before then in the client area and nothing is charged.
