Change game version and settings
Game tools in the client area has the settings for your server. Take a backup before a version change: worlds and add-ons don't always survive one.
- Back up. Press Backups on the server card, then Create a backup now.
- Change settings. Game tools → Settings lists the startup settings your game exposes. Edit a value and press Save. Some are fixed by us and shown as such.
- Edit config files. Game tools → Config files opens the game's config files in your browser.
- Restart. Changes apply after a restart.
Minecraft versions
In Game tools → Plugins & mods, enter a version (for example 1.21.1, or latest) and press Switch version. Some plugins may need updating afterwards.
Other games
For many games the version or branch is one of the startup settings. If yours isn't there, open a Game server ticket and we'll change it.
