Backups and restores
Game servers and VPS/VDS are backed up differently.
Game servers
Every new game server gets a daily backup at 04:00 UTC. It uses your plan's backup slots, and the oldest backup is replaced when they are full. You can change or delete that schedule in Game tools → Schedules.
To take one now, press Backups on the server card, then Create a backup now. Finished backups can be downloaded from the same window.
To restore or delete a backup, use Open full panel; you are signed in automatically.
VPS and VDS: daily backups add-on
Daily backups are a paid add-on for VPS and VDS, where it's available. Add it when you order, or later with Add daily backups on the server card. The whole server is backed up every night and the last 7 days are kept.
Press Backups on the server card to see them and restore one. A restore replaces the server with that backup.
Turning the add-on off deletes that server's backups.
Keep your own copy
For anything you can't lose, download a copy now and then and keep it somewhere else too.
